Customer Reviews

In the heart of Downtown Mpls--Nicolette Mall

I stayed here for two nights for wedding. The reception room was really decent. However, for a Hyatt Regency, the rooms were so-so. I wouldn't call this luxury in compared to other hotels. For the location, I suppose the price justifies. The beds were nice. The pool was a dinky thing and the fitness center was extra if you want to use the equipment. Nice location for those who want to be right downtown. It's pretty dead on the weekends since it's a finanical district during the week.

Pros: Good locale

Cons: Parking is a pain

Great views!

The Hyatt is conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Minneapolis. The hotel is very clean and classy. The rooms near the top of the building have excellent views of the city! The rooms are also comfortable and thoughtful. The staff is friendly and genuine. Parking isn't a problem and it's cheap ($10/day). Plus, there are many good restaurants in, connected to, or near the hotel. The only drawback is the pool area because it doesn't seem to fit the rest of the hotel. It's not quite as modern and luxurious looking as the rest of the hotel. All in all, HIGHLY RECOMMEND :)

Pros: Views, beds, service, parking, location

Cons: pool, have to pay to use workout facilities

Nice Place, Excellent Service, Nasty bathroom!!!

This hotel is beautiful. The service is AMAZING, above and beyond. The room was clean and pleasant. The ambiance is inviting. It's located within walking distance of some great city sites. However, the bathroom in our room was very disappointing. It is in great need of renovation. The tiles in the shower were stained with mildew. The vent was caked with dust. The bathroom was tiny and we had to walk around the toilet to get into the shower. If you want a place with a nice clean tub to soak and relax in, this is definitely not for you.
