I've been going to events at the James J. Hill House since I was a little girl, and it's always a wonderful experience. The house is very beautiful, and there's so much intriguing history about the house and the Hill family. I learn something new each time I visit. The staff are very knowledgeable and gracious. The fees are very reasonable (usually $8 per event). I just received a membership to the Minnesota Historical Society for my birthday, so I will be attending lots of events at the Hill House as well as all the other fabulous historical sites around Minnesota!

My family of 5 and I were all excite to attend. We got admisssion prices off this site. We took some friends along being how resonable the prices were I decided to treat my 8 friends . HOWEVER, I was totally shocked by how different the prices were at the door as compared to the website. I see you have changed the prices now but a bit too late for me. Shocking weren't the Victorian ghost stories but the unexpected admission fee. GOT ME THERE!!!! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
